History

Aerial Tumbling & AcroGymnastics (ATA Gymnastics) was founded in 1995 by Bob and Pam Meier. Since then, we’ve taught thousands of kids & teens both gymnastics and self-confidence through our unique tumbling and acro programs. In 2022, the business was passed to the stewardship of former ATA team athlete Brennan Atsatt.

Mission

At ATA, we harness the ancient discipline of gymnastics to teach physical and social skills for lifelong wellbeing.

We believe there is a virtuous cycle that begins when a child's imagination is sparked. Through persistent practice, our students progress both their skills and their confidence, inspiring the pursuit of even bigger dreams! Throughout ATA’s tumbling and acrobatic gymnastics programs, students are instilled with the fundamental skills they need to succeed in all areas of life:

  • Physical Skills

    • Strength

    • Flexibility

    • Agility

    • Injury Prevention

  • Social/Emotional Skills

    • Resilience

    • Self-confidence

    • Teamwork

    • Focus

Guiding young lives, even for an hour, entails a profound responsibility, which we take very seriously. ATA Gymnastics is a community of people who love gymnastics and care deeply about our students. Above all, we know that learning should be serious FUN!

Through imagination, songs and movement, Cathy helps ATA’s youngest students learn their beginning gymnastics skills, while building a lifetime love of the sport. One of Cathy’s favorite parts of Gymnastics is watching the self-confidence and excitement our young athletes gain as they master new skills.
