Acrobatic Gymnastics Team

We proudly offer a world-class Acrobatic Gymnastics program in the heart of Silicon Valley.

Since 1995, ATA athletes have won numerous national and international awards, earned college scholarships, and even competed in the finals of America’s Got Talent!

ATA’s competitive acro teams require a year-long commitment and 3-5 practices per week. Most competitive team athletes begin on the Pre-Team or in the Recreational program.

Acro Teams

  • Pre-Team is the perfect way for your child to be introduced to partner acrobatics! Emphasis is placed on developing the foundational body-awareness, strength, and flexibility necessary for success in our competitive program.

We currently offer three Pre-Team classes:

    • Intro - 1 day / wk

    • Intensive - 2 days / wk

    • Boys - 1 day / wk (Fall only)

    Enrollment is seasonal and limited!

    Spring Session: Feb - Jun

Elite level athletes who qualify for the US National Team may compete internationally, including at the bi-annual Acro World Championships.

Team Selection

Team Tryouts are held each year in the first weeks of August, following July Training. Prospective team athletes must participate in tryouts and one week of July training to be eligible for the Development, Intermediate, or Advanced Teams.

Those interested only in Pre-Team do not need to attend Tryouts or July Training, but must meet other requirements (see above).

Due to the intensity of the selection process, enrollment in July Training and Team Tryouts is by invitation only, based on coach recommendation or individual evaluation. Minimum recreational tumbling Level 3 (or equivalent) is required.

For more information regarding tryouts, tuition, and schedule for the upcoming season, please email acro@atagymnastics.com.
