On February 2nd, our very own elite mixed pair, Eshiana Coleman and Jaylen Ivey were awarded a gold medal at the Bristol International Acro Cup which took place in Bristol, England!

This past summer, the pair was named USAG National Team members, after competing at US National Championships in Des Moines, IA.  The pair have been competing and training together for the past couple of seasons and decided to take their talents to the next level by competing on the international stage.  Having the opportunity to represent the USA with other National Team members was a truly life-changing opportunity.

At the elite level, athletes perform 3 separate routines.  After delivering three impressive routines, Eshiana and Jaylen earned a combined score of 78.950 which put them in the top spot overall.  Since the beginning of the season, they have been training with the goal of securing a spot on the Worlds Team to represent the USA at the 2020 World Age Group Championships.  The event is held every other year, and this year the World Championships will take place in Geneva, Switzerland on May 20-26th.

There’s more work ahead, but Eshiana and Jaylen are already off to a stellar start!
